LOCATION:

Charleston, South Carolina

This retreat's theme is Hospitality and Customer Experience, so we decided what better way to experience unreasonable hospitality than to host the retreat in the personal home of Tierney Jutzi, owner of Bridal House of Charelston, as well as experience her beautiful bridal store which is Charleston's longest-standing bridal boutique where they have been celebrating brides for 37+ years in the lowcountry.

Just minutes from downtown - our time at Tierney's home will be intimate, comfortable, and the perfect space to refine our businesses & refresh our souls. We also have exciting activities planned to help you all explore + experience the deep hospitality the city of Charleston has to offer.

The White Dress Society Mini Retreat is an opportunity for bridal store owners to gather in a uniquely intimate setting. Limited to 10 attendees, this two and a half day retreat allows like-minded store owners to come together for inspiration, networking, and learning in a more intimate and relaxing atmosphere. TWDS founder, Beth Chapman has carefully curated innovative experts, both from inside and outside of the wedding world, to cover compelling and relevant topics intended to educate and inspire. There will also be PLENTY of time to connect, network and share ideas which is always the BEST part of The Mini Retreat!

  •  TERRITORY EXCLUSIVITY: As a VIP, this is the only way to implement any type of territory exclusivity. We wholehearted believe in community over competition but we understand the intimacy of this retreat can lend itself to preferring not to be there with a competitor, especially as our focus will be the client experience within your store.
  • Transportion to and from the airport (if you fly into the Charleston International Airport)
  • An intentional + intimate mastermind lunchtime picnic at White Point Garden (an iconic Charleston spot along The Battery just minutes from the infamous Rainbow Row) complete with personalized conversations for coaching around your business that will inspire conversation the remainder of the retreat. This also allows VIP attendees to have the  ability to have intimate conversations with a very tight group of like-minded bridal store owners with topics submitted by VIPs in advance. This time will be led and facilitated by 3 industry-focused, business coaches: Beth Chapman of Beth Chapman Consulting and Liz Cox and Ty McBrayer of Refined Business Collective.
  • A one-hour follow up coaching session post-retreat to help to focus your learnings and put them into practice with your choice of the 3 coaches.
  • A quintessential and luxurious Charleston dining experience (specific details to be announced soon) that will highlight hospitality in ways that will not only leave you feeling celebrated but also inspire you to implement elements of unreasonable hospitality in your own business. We promise, you won't want to miss it!

Praise from Previous Attendees:
"A heartfelt thank you for such the incredible Mini Retreat. It was absolutely amazing and just what the mind and soul needed. Sitting amongst such bridal experts is truly a privilege. The platform you all created was just perfect and allowed us to share and learn from each other. I am so grateful that I was able to be a part of it. Looking forward to many more!" - Beth Anderson Harvey // Ivory Loft Bridal, Michigan
"Overall impression of the retreat: Can we do this once a quarter? Haha. No but seriously, you all hit it out of the park. I cannot wait for the next one. The conversations with other owners were just priceless.  Thank you so much for creating space for that via so much unscheduled "session" time. I thought that was killer.  At first glance I thought it felt light on content, but this actually turned out to be key to the success of the retreat! I really appreciated the collection of owners you had there too.  Such a wealth of experience! I was expecting more newbies so this was a welcomed surprise. Also the size of the group was perfect. I loved the different spaces that created conversation in a homey environment.  Much better than a hotel. Also - the VIP experience was so worth it.  More time with everyone was really precious to me. THANK YOU ALL for this. I couldn't be more honored to be part of this." - Tanya Hartman // Gilded Social, Ohio
"Thank you all for hosting such a beautiful retreat. Such great energy! Having other boutique owners to contact when things come up is priceless!" - Christina Wegner // White Dress Bridal Boutique, Wisconsin
"Thank you so much for including me!  It was a really nice week!  You guys planned a wonderful retreat! I think overall I left feeling a sense of community and that our business is doing the right things. I can easily feel like I'm missing something, so I feel like all the things we talked about, we do, which felt good. I think there are a few tweaks and refreshes that I am excited to tackle, but overall I felt really confident in our structure and processes! I so appreciate the inclusive vibe and variety in the group!  Thanks for allowing me to join and making me feel so welcome from the beginning! Can't wait to continue! xo" - Jessica Limeberry // Sophia's Bridal, Indiana + Kentucky
"Thank you all so much for putting together another incredible TWDS retreat! I really enjoyed the smaller more intimate group and being able to really take time to hear from other owners about what is/is not working in our businesses and bounce ideas off of one another. I will definitely be implementing a few things I learned from everyone else immediately! Overall, I had a great time and really got a lot out of the few days we were together." - Abby  Janiszewski // Strike Bridal Bar, Wisconsin
"Attending The White Dress Society retreat was the most valuable thing I've done for my small bridal boutique! Hearing so many inspirational and educational speakers, all who specialise in the wedding industry, has provided me with some really valuable skills which I can utilise both in the short term and long term to develop and grow my business. In addition, the networking opportunities to connect with like-minded business owners was absolutely amazing! I'll definitely be returning!" -Laura Watson // The Bride Lab, Australia
“This is by far the best learning event that I have ever been to. As an entrepreneur, I love attending conferences and learning events to see to the different ways I can creatively and efficiently run my businesses. However, this event was SO SPECIFIC to my businesses that it was easy to relate and take action immediately. It is almost a no brainer to attend this event if you are a bridal store owner as it couldn't get more relevant than this. Aside from the incredible amount of learning, there is a wealth of knowledge from the attendee's, I've received process and experience shares from other bridal shops that will save me time and energy from doing research/trial and error myself. I wish I can say this is the best kept secret, but I actually want every bridal store owner to attend, so that they run their business with the highest integrity because there is enough business to go around.“ - Jennifer Dang // Ferre Sposa, Canada
"ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE are the words that come to my mind when I reflect of my time at retreat over the last few days! Impeccable attention to every detail, inspiring guest speakers, and y'all created such an ambiance to Ask. Speak. Share! Thank you SO very much Beth + Charlotte for all the effort you put into this event to make it an indescribable experience!" - Courtney Foreman // Weddings with Joy, Washington
